Our Vision

We envision a world where children discover the qualities that make a good friend can be learned, practiced, and shared, just like a recipe. Through Sassy’s stories and Melody’s culinary classes, we want to bring children together to create, try new things, learn from mistakes, and recognize the good in themselves and others.

As Sassy’s nine-book journey unfolds, each new character will offer children another way to think about friendship and who they are becoming. Our hope is that they carry those lessons beyond the page and the kitchen, making room for others, and brightening someone’s day.
